Adam Nathan is the Vice-President of Programming for the Duke University Union and Director of Public Relations for the Duke Student Government.
Responsibilities
The VPP organizes program evaluation, encourages innovative programming expansion and ideas and communicates with program directors to assess needs and concerns.
Background
Adam Nathan is a sophomore in Trinity College majoring with a Program II degree in Third World Development, focusing on public policy, economic, and civil engineering applications to development issues. He hails from the exciting state of New Jersey, and
Besides rocking the press corps with his killer news briefs on the exciting happenings in DSG and programming events that appeal to everyone from enginerds to frat starts, serves as the Communications Chair on the Undergraduate Publications Board. He also is heavily involved in Duke's Office of Undergraduate Admissions, giving information sessions and tours there along with the Office of University Development and the Sanford Institute. He also writes for The Chronicle, is a lead attorney on Duke's Mock Trial Team, serves as a First-Year Advisory Counselor, and participates on Project Wild. Adam spent his summer in South Africa doing research on educational policy, and he loves unsweetened ice tea, airplanes, skiing, and tailgating for Duke's successful football team.
