Purpose
Annual Assessment is founded upon the principle that housing for living groups (selective living groups, fraternities, and theme houses) is not a right, but rather, a privilege. The assessment process, conducted once every calendar year, will allow groups to display their contributions to their members and residents of their quad. Ultimately, it is understood, that a group's presence brings the greatest value to its members, and should similarly provide benefits to the quad community.
The nature of the assessment will require that groups maintain a set of universal expectations. In addition, groups will have an equal opportunity to focus the direction of the assessment around aspects unique to the mission/purpose of the group.
