  • Grocery drop zones around dorms/ relieve enforcement for these zones.
  • New streetlights off of Perry Street to create a safer atmosphere for freshmen to walk to Cosmic/ 9th street locations.
  • Better cell phone reception for AT&T/ Cingular Customers through cell boosters on campus.
  • Make the $5.25 credit that freshmen get for missing breakfast useable on West Campus.
  • Provide healthy late-night dining by extending hours for Saladelia and the Bella Union.
  • Work on possibility of an off-campus bus that runs to Belmont, Erwin, and Partner’s Place.
  • Reduce Duke’s carbon footprint by implementing a system that provides incentives for carpooling from Erwin, Partner’s, and the Belmont.

  • Making the Central Campus tennis courts playable.
  • Extend Quencher’s hours if sufficient demand.
  • Vending machine in Perkins/ Bostock library.
  • Ensure adequate field-space for club/ IM sports is included in the Central Campus construction.
  • Ensure sustainability and efficacy of the Duke Bikes program.
  • Examine feasibility of outlets in K-Ville, given safety concerns.
  • Appoint one or two ACS senators to work with Tavey McDaniel—sustainability coordinator for Duke University—to sit on any planning meetings for transportation/ central campus.
