Responsibilities
The chair of Smalltown Records coordinates band - label interactions including A & E, recording, production, contracts, recruitment, marketing, concerts, compilation albums. He/she works with the Duke Community to foster a vibrant music scene, giving bands the resources they need to record and promote their music, find gigging opportunities, and gain a fanbase on and off of campus.
Background
Colin is an '09 Public Policy Studies major from Boston. He grew up loving music and slowly gaining more interest in the industry. By sophomore year he had worked for several, unique music companies. He is also interested in film and hopes eventually to combine these interests.
