  • Work with the Town of Chapel Hill to resolve the dispute over the Halloween party on Franklin St.
  • Improve publicity of Durham cultural events on campus
  • Increase transportation options to events in Durham
  • Work with the Community Service Center to make it more student friendly
  • Provide better transportation options to community service sites
  • Establish a website that highlights Durham for current and prospective students
  • Put a Duke Card/UNC OneCard equivalency program in place to allow students to attend events put on by the Carolina Union Activities Board
  • Improve the lighting off East Campus, particularly on Perry St.
  • Push the Durham Police Department to establish a Duke liaison
  • Encourage a better relationship between the Durham police and the student body
  • Install an Emergency Blue Light on the Duke owned property on Perry St.
  • Work with Trinity Heights and Trinity Park residents to reduce complaints about off-campus partying
  • Work with landlords to improve safety at off-campus apartments
  • Work with OSAF to make Crash Courses more Durham focused
  • Advertise the on campus One Stop Early Voting location
  • Continue the Duke Excellence Team program
  • Improve and expand the service learning course offerings
  • Work with Downtown Durham Inc. to get Duke student input on potential developments downtown
  • Run regular buses to Target and/or Wallmart so students can stock up on necessities
  • Establish a lecture or lunch series that brings prominent figures in Durham and the Triangle to campus
  • Establish a discount program to encourage students to shop in Durham
