From Student Link
All of the organizations on this website are run by undergraduate students at Duke University. They depend on passionate committed people to help make the Duke experience better for everyone. They set policies which allow students to tent in K-ville, hold last day of classes festivities, run the coffeehouse and find course evaluations. They make sure that student groups have the money they need to put on events and that student publications are not continually re-invented and competing for the same audience.
In short, these organizations give students at Duke an unprecedented amount of self-determination. But everything that they do depends on students choosing to give up their hard-won free time.

- The DSG Senate elects new members to the SOFC in the Fall and Spring. Anyone may apply by making a short presentation before the Duke Student Government. Members work with a committee of about fifteen to distribute nearly half a million dollars to students across campus.
- The UPB draws its membership from the editors of campus Publications. However, they often have need of students with special skills, and would never turn down a student who wanted to help.
- The Community Service Center brings together professional staff with student directors. Most students start out as First-year Representatives for their dorms. There are two reps per dorm, and they motivate fellow first-year students to volunteer and help with many Community Service Center programs and activities. However, students are welcome to join the center at all stages in their Duke careers.
