Description
Introductory (1st semester) calculus. Emphasis on laboratory projects, group work, and written reports. Differentiation, transcendental functions, optimization, differential equations, numerical approximations, Euler's method, the Fundamental Theorem, separation of variables, slope fields, and mathematical modeling.
