Molly Bierman is the 2008-2009 President of Duke's Campus Council.

Responsibilities

• Leader of Campus Council, which advocates for needs and interests of students who live on campus (about 85% of undergraduate population)
  • Campus Council is the parent organization for Central Campus Council, East Campus Council, House Councils (14), and Quad Councils (7)
• Primary student liaison to Residence Life & Housing Services
• Primary student liaison to other administrators and Duke Chronicle regarding residential issues
• Co-chair of Campus Council policy committee
• Co-chair of Residential Group Assessment Committee
• Campus Council representative to Inter-Community Council
• Campus Council representative to Undergraduate Union Board
• Campus Council representative to focus group for Duke student online calendar, "Buzz"

Background

Originally from Dallas, Molly is now a Pratt senior majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics. In addition to working with Campus Council, she gives weekly tours for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, serves as a marketing co-chair on the Senior Gift Committee, is a teaching assistant for ME 101L (Thermodynamics), and plays club field hockey. Sometimes she enjoys doing other things too, like waterskiing, going to Wheels Roller-Skating Rink, and watching game shows.
