Responsibilities

DUU's Special Projects is committed to providing first class receptions and events for the Duke student body at large. Responsible for producing last year's Duke Royale at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens and for facilitating a number of other activities on campus, Special Projects is continuously striving to produce more of the events students on campus want. With increased resources, Special Projects looks forward to producing a revamped version of Duke Royale the coming academic year in addition Dukes of Durham: a southern comfort in the Fall.


Background

This year, Special Projects will be directed by senior Rebecca Friedman. Although this is Rebecca's first time officially working with the union, this Miami native and political science major looks forward on to drawing on some of the experiences and resources she has had in the past and incorporating that into creating high-end productions for Duke students.
